Verschiebung MDR – weiterer Schritt getan

Ein weiterer Schritt in Richtung MDR-Verschiebung ist getan. Am vergangenen Freitag hat das europäische Parlament mit 693 Stimmen (eine Gegenstimme und zwei Enthaltungen) für den Vorschlag der Kommission zur Anpassung der MDR votiert. Inzwischen zweifelt wohl niemand mehr an dem einjährigen Aufschub der Verordnung. Offiziell ist die Verschiebung jedoch noch nicht. Die nächste Hürde ist die Lesung im europäischen Rat, die voraussichtlich diese Woche genommen wird.

Another step towards postponement of the MDR was taken. On Friday, the European Parliament voted almost unanimously on the Commission’s proposal. By now, nobody doubts the deferment of the regulation. Although, the postponement is not done yet. The next step, the reading in the European Council, will probably be taken this week.
